The expiry age for this product is 70 years old. As long as you pay the premiums required you will remain covered until the expiry age.

You are allowed to decrease the Sum Assured after purchase. Please bear in mind you may risk being under-insured should you decide to decrease the Sum Assured.

The minimum Sum Assured is RM50 while the maximum Sum Assured is RM125.

No. There are no benefits payable at the end of the policy term.

Should you decide that this policy is not the right fit for you, you may return it within 15 days from the date of receipt. We will refund all premiums paid.

Yes, you can. However, the policy carries no surrender value upon termination. You will need to submit a written request to MCIS Insurance Berhad in order to surrender your policy. You may submit the written request by email to customerservice@mcis.my or at the nearest MCIS Life branch.

This Policy shall automatically terminate:-

1. upon death of the Life Assured;
2. when the Policy becomes void, lapse or surrendered;
3. upon non-payment of premium within the Grace Period;
4. a written request from policyholder for termination of this Policy is received by the Company;
5. on the Expiry Date;
6. when the Lifetime Limit has been exceeded.

Yes. Our nomination process is simple and easy. If your intention is for the nominees to receive the policy monies and if the nominees are not your spouse, child or your parents, then you are advised to assign the policy benefits to the nominee(s) instead of executing the nomination.

Yes. You may qualify for personal tax relief on medical insurance premium from the purchase of this plan, subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the Inland Revenue Board. MCIS Insurance Berhad does not provide tax advice; please contact your tax advisor for more information.

Yes, the premium amount increases according to age. Further MCIS Insurance Berhad has the right to revise the premium amount payable with a 30 day notice period.

1. Maximum hospitalization benefit is 90 days per year and 180 days throughout the policy duration (hereinafter known as “Lifetime Limit”).


2. Minimum hospitalization period is 48 hours consecutively.


3. A waiting period of 30 days will be imposed for non-accidental admission.

The following shall not be covered:

• if hospitalisation is caused by illness or disease during the first thirty (30) days from the Issue Date or Reinstatement Date of this Annexure except for accidental injuries; or


• in respect of any period of hospitalisation for an illness or injury occurring before payment of the first Premium under this Annexure; or


• in respect of any period of hospitalisation which occurs after the termination of this Annexure; or


• in respect of any period of hospitalisation for an illness or injury directly or indirectly caused by or accelerated by: -
  • strike, riot, civil commotion, war (whether declared or not).
  • violation or attempt violation of the law or resisting arrest.
  • illness or medical condition arising from whatsoever reason in respect of medical advice, treatment or recommendation received from a medical practitioner within the immediate two (2) years from the Issue date which was not disclosed in the proposal form.
  • engaging in aviation activities (except as an ordinary fare-paying passenger or crew member on a regular public air service) or aerial flight of whatsoever nature whether sports or recreational.
  • engaging in professional sports, polo, bungee jumping, steeple chasing, mountaineering, winter sports, hunting, water skiing, Scuba Diving, Sky Diving of any kind or racing of any kind other than on foot.
  • being under the influence of or intoxicated by liquor or any narcotic or drug.
  • attempted suicide, intentional self-inflicted injury, dueling.
  • mental disorder, insanity.
  • sexually transmitted disease, HIV, acquired immune deficiency syndrome.
  • any form of treatment, examination or consultation related to childbirth, pregnancy or abortion.
  • test or treatment related to infertility, contraception, sterilization, hereditary condition, circumcision.
  • routine medical examination or consultation, cosmetic or dental care and treatment or plastic surgery, organ or tissue donation, gender transformation experimental or elective surgery or congenital anomalies.
